Inclement Weather Update

Due to the threat of significant ice, we invite you to join us for an online service Sunday, January 25 at 10:30 AM on Facebook or YouTube. This will be a livestream of an abbreviated service from our Calvary campus.

While we do not cancel Sunday morning services unless power outages make it impossible to heat the building, icy conditions may prevent us from clearing sidewalks and parking areas, making it unwise for most people to attend in person.

At Calvary: The Worship Center will be open at 10:30 AM for a shortened, in-person service. There will be no Children’s Ministry, Student Ministry, or Academy Classes. All scheduled serve teams are also canceled. If road conditions are unsafe where you are, we encourage you to join us online.

At Barfield: All on-campus gatherings and events are cancelled, including the Penguin Potluck, which will be rescheduled for a future date.We’re praying for safety and warmth for your family and will keep you informed as the situation develops.

At One Students, we believe students are more than the future of the church—they are the church right now. God has given them gifts, influence, and purpose today, and we want to help them fully step into that calling.

But in order to do that, students need a community of people who love them, encourage them, hold them accountable, and walk beside them as they grow. That’s why One Students exists: to create a place where faith is lived out in real relationships and where students are challenged to follow Jesus boldly.

We don’t see student ministry as just another program. Our goal is not to keep students busy, but to recognize their God-given value and help them live as part of the body of Christ. That means we treat them with respect and we accept them as they are as we call them to become who God has created them to be.

Connect Groups

Connect Groups are all about connecting with God, connecting with others, and living out your faith in everyday life. These groups are designed to give students opportunities to dive into Scripture, ask questions, and share life together while building authentic friendships.

Each group is led by trusted adult leaders who invest in both students and their families. These leaders walk alongside students in their faith journey and partner with parents by supporting and reinforcing the ministry already happening at home.

Groups meet each week during midweek service. This gives students consistent time for prayer, accountability, and encouragement. Beyond the weekly rhythm, Connect Groups also gather for fellowship events throughout the year, creating even more opportunities to grow in community.
