One Church Academy classes are small group learning environments designed to help you go deeper in your walk with Christ. These classes go beyond traditional Sunday School, offering rich biblical teaching and thoughtful discussion across a wide range of topics. Whether you're exploring a specific book of the Bible, learning to parent with purpose, or wrestling with big theological questions, there's class for you.

Financial Principles for the Christian Home

God cares about every area of our lives, including how we manage our finances. This practical class will explore biblical principles for giving, saving, investing, budgeting, and eliminating debt while helping participants become faithful stewards of the resources God has entrusted to them. Whether you're just getting started or looking to strengthen your financial foundation, you'll gain practical tools that can be applied immediately. Excavating the 23rd Psalm

Psalm 23 is far more than a passage often read at funerals. It is a beautiful picture of God's heart for His people and a model for the Christian life. In this class, we will take a thoughtful look at this powerful sermon and discover what it reveals about living as a true follower of Christ. Together, we'll explore practical applications for everyday life while growing in our understanding of God's kingdom and His call to holiness. Join us as we examine the words of Jesus and learn how they continue to transform hearts today.

Healthy Shame versus Toxic Shame, Healthy Fear versus Toxic Anxiety

Shame and fear can either protect us or quietly control us. In this class, we'll explore the difference between healthy shame and toxic shame, as well as healthy fear and toxic anxiety, through a biblical lens. Using Chip Dodd's The Voice of the Heart, participants will learn how to recognize unhealthy emotional patterns and experience the freedom Christ offers. Through practical teaching, discussion, and biblical truth, you'll discover how God's grace brings healing, courage, and lasting transformation.
Spiritual Warfare and the Whole Armor of God

Every believer faces spiritual battles, but God has provided everything we need to stand firm. This class will study Paul's letter to the Ephesians with a special focus on the Armor of God found in chapter six. Together, we'll examine each piece of armor, discover its practical application for everyday life, and learn how to recognize and resist spiritual attacks. Grow in confidence, discernment, and strength as you learn to walk faithfully in Christ.
Seize the Day: Embracing a Mission with Purpose

God has called every believer to participate in His mission of making Christ known. Just as He called Peter, Philip, and Paul, He invites us to live with purpose by sharing the hope of the gospel with those around us. In this class, we'll explore what it means to embrace God's mission in everyday life and discover how obedience brings lasting significance. Ezekiel

The book of Ezekiel offers powerful messages of judgment, hope, restoration, and God's unwavering faithfulness. This continuing study will explore the prophet's extraordinary visions, God's warnings to His people, and His promises for the future. Along the way, we'll examine how the spiritual challenges faced by Judah continue to speak to our culture today. Whether you're continuing from a previous session or joining for the first time, you'll gain valuable insight into one of the Bible's most remarkable prophetic books.
Relational Discipleship

Following Jesus was never intended to be a solo journey. This nine week class will help you grow as a disciple while equipping you to intentionally invest in the lives of others. Together, we'll explore practical ways to build authentic relationships, encourage spiritual growth, and become disciples who make disciples. Whether you're new to the faith or ready to mentor someone else, you'll leave with practical tools to help others follow Christ.
One Students Academy Class
• Ben Hendrix
Student academy classes are designed to equip students with the knowledge they need to be in a right relationship with Jesus and to stand strong in their faith among their peers. Join us on Sunday mornings for the class, followed by worship in the Worship Center at 10:30 AM.
No sign-up is required for this class. Students are welcome to come and go as their schedule allows.

Beyond Sunday: Discipling the Next Generations

Discipleship is about far more than what happens on Sunday morning. In this class, you'll discover practical, biblical strategies for investing in the next generation throughout the week, whether you're raising children, serving students, or mentoring young adults. Each session will provide practical tools you can begin using immediately. Join us as we become a church committed to shaping the next generation through intentional relationships and everyday discipleship.

Lord, I Want to Know You

Knowing God begins with understanding who He has revealed Himself to be. Using Kay Arthur's Lord, I Want to Know You, this study will explore the powerful names of God found throughout Scripture and what they reveal about His character.
