God Is: Understanding the Character of God

• Steve Cochran and John Nelson

The world is filled with competing religions, philosophies, and opinions about who God is. Thankfully, we are not left to figure Him out on our own. Through Scripture, God has revealed His character, His nature, and His heart so that we can truly know Him. In this multi generational, discussion based Bible study, we will explore what the Bible teaches about God’s attributes and discover why a deeper understanding of Him leads to greater trust, worship, and obedience. Each week will include biblical teaching, meaningful conversation, and practical application. Join us as we seek to know God more fully and be transformed by the truth of who He is.

Discovering and Understanding Our Spiritual Gifts

• Jason Martin

What are spiritual gifts, who receives them, and how are they different from natural talents? In this class, we will explore what Scripture teaches about the gifts given by the Holy Spirit and how they are intended to strengthen the body of Christ. Together, we will examine the various spiritual gifts described in the Bible and discuss how they function within the church. Participants will also complete a spiritual gifts inventory to help identify areas where God may have uniquely equipped them. Finally, we will connect those gifts to practical opportunities to serve at One Church and beyond. Bring a Bible and come ready to discover how God has designed you to make a difference.

Ezekiel: A Prophet in Exile

• Joe Sarsfield

The book of Ezekiel is one of the most fascinating and challenging books in the Old Testament. Though taken captive to Babylon, Ezekiel was called by God to proclaim messages of warning, judgment, hope, and restoration to God’s people. In this class, we will explore Ezekiel’s powerful visions, prophetic messages, and glimpses of God’s future plans. Along the way, we will discover how God’s faithfulness remained steadfast even during a season of exile and uncertainty. This study will help participants better understand one of Scripture’s great prophetic books and its relevance for believers today. Join us as we journey through the life and message of a prophet strengthened by God.
