Men’s Ministry at One Church: Following the Way of Jesus Together
At One Church, we believe the best ministry model for men is the one modeled by Jesus Christ. He had His inner circle of Peter, James, and John, and each of them brought others to be discipled in smaller, more personal contexts. In the same way, we encourage our mature followers of Jesus to disciple another man in a 1 to 1 relationship or in micro groups of 1 to 3.
The purpose of these relationships is to grow disciples in the THREE C’s: Christlike CHARACTER, Biblical CONVICTIONS, and Service COMPETENCIES according to their specific spiritual gifts, as seen in 2 Timothy 2:2. Our goal is that every man will be discipled 1 to 1 and discipling others in a 1 to 1 context, building a culture of spiritual growth, accountability, and brotherhood.
